Following a 25-year career in the British Army, that culminated in command of the Light Dragoons, David assisted in the start-up of Control Risks’ High-Risk Managed Services in Iraq. He went on to run the Control Risks business there for 16 years until December 2020, providing a broad spectrum of services to the diplomatic, energy and capacity building sectors. In his time in Iraq, he spent 2 years as chair of the Private Security Association, providing the essential gearing between the private security sector, Multi-National Forces Iraq and the Government of Iraq. He brings a wealth of experience to Grey Prism Group as its Chairman.
